Wisconsin Supreme Court Rejects Vos Recall Attempt

Vos, a Republican who has been under fire from some Trump supporters for his refusal to decertify the 2020 election results in favor of Trump, has seen two previous recall efforts fail due to insufficient valid signatures. The Racine Recall Committee, which has led the recall efforts, has criticized Vos for not supporting impeachment actions against the state's elections administrator. As Vos prepares for a general election against Democrat Alan Kupsik on November 5, this legal setback leaves the recall effort in limbo. Vos, who has served as Assembly Speaker since 2013, is the longest-serving individual in that role in Wisconsin history.
