Martinez asserts that Berry's legal actions are attempts to harass and control him using her wealth and legal resources. Despite Berry's request for a court order to enforce the therapy schedule, Judge Shelley Kaufman denied it due to lack of urgency. The couple's divorce was finalized in 2023, and they had agreed in May 2024 to attend co-parenting therapy to resolve their conflicts. Berry’s current partner, Van Hunt, is also permitted to participate in these therapy sessions.
