Halle Berry has accused her ex-husband, Olivier Martinez, of delaying their co-parenting therapy sessions by taking the 'summer off' to travel and be with family, contrary to their agreement to complete the sessions by June 14, 2024. Berry claims Martinez unilaterally decided to defer therapy until September, which she argues harms their 10-year-old son, Maceo, and exacerbates their strained relationship. Martinez asserts that Berry's legal actions are attempts to harass and control him using her wealth and legal resources. Despite Berry's request for a court order to enforce the therapy schedule, Judge Shelley Kaufman denied it due to lack of urgency. The couple's divorce was finalized in 2023, and they had agreed in May 2024 to attend co-parenting therapy to resolve their conflicts. Berry’s current partner, Van Hunt, is also permitted to participate in these therapy sessions.
