NYPD Searching for Escapee from Bellevue Hospital

Christopher Miller was re-arrested after escaping from Bellevue Hospital on February 3, 2024. He was being treated for a stab wound when police discovered an active warrant for a traffic infraction. Miller fled the hospital and was later re-arrested for escape. Miller, who had been described as 5’6″ tall and 160 pounds with black hair, was wearing a gray sweatsuit and carrying a black cane when he escaped. In August 2023, Yenchun Chen escaped from Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital using a string of towels and bedsheets to rappel down from the hospital’s fifth-floor window.
