16-Year-Old Hezly Rivera Joins Olympic Team

16-year-old Hezly Rivera has secured her spot on the U.S. Women's Gymnastics Team for the 2024 Paris Olympics, joining veterans Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, and Jade Carey. Rivera, who trains at WOGA in Plano, Texas, impressed the selection committee with her high scores on the uneven bars and balance beam, and her overall performance at the Olympic trials.
