Famine Declared in Sudan's Zamzam Camp

The Zamzam camp in Sudan's North Darfur region, home to approximately 500,000 displaced people, is facing a famine due to ongoing conflict and limited humanitarian access, as reported by the World Food Program (WFP) and UNICEF. Flooding has further exacerbated the dire conditions, contaminating water and sanitation facilities, and increasing the risk of diseases like cholera.
