Eagles Release Multiple Players for 53-Man Roster

The Philadelphia Eagles have made several roster changes, releasing multiple players as part of the mandatory cutdown to a 53-man roster. Notable releases include running back Tyrion Davis-Price, who posted 118 rushing yards in preseason, and standout HBCU offensive tackle Anim Dankwah, who was signed as an undrafted free agent. Veteran wide receiver John Ross, a former Bengals first-round pick known for his speed, was also cut after attempting an NFL comeback. Additionally, the Eagles waived wideout Austin Watkins, who spent most of 2023 on Cleveland's practice squad. The Pittsburgh Steelers released veteran wide receiver Quez Watkins, who had signed a one-year deal after four seasons with the Eagles.
