Cambridge Woman Charged in Boston Stabbing
Alicia Morasse, a 29-year-old woman from Cambridge, was arrested and charged with multiple offenses after allegedly stabbing a restaurant worker in Boston on Sunday night. The incident occurred at Kaze Shabu Shabu on Harrison Avenue, where Morasse reportedly entered, ordered food, and then engaged in an argument that escalated into violence. Following the altercation, the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. Police located Morasse near Stuart and Church streets, recovering a knife from her backpack. She has been charged with assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and other related offenses, and is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing set for August 8. Morasse has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
