Sen's Olympic Win Voided; Matches Rescheduled

Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen's victory over Kevin Cordon in his opening Group L match at the Paris Olympics has been declared void following Cordon's withdrawal due to a left elbow injury. The Badminton World Federation (BWF) confirmed that all results involving Cordon have been deleted, reducing Group L to three players: Sen, Jonatan Christie, and Julien Carraggi. As a result, Sen will be the only player to have played three matches, though only two will count. Sen is set to face Carraggi on Monday and Christie on Wednesday, with only one player advancing from the group. This decision aims to ensure fairness in the competition, preventing any undue advantage due to Cordon's exit.
