Theo Pourchaire Returns to McLaren for Toronto

Theo Pourchaire has been called back to Arrow McLaren to replace Alexander Rossi for the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto after Rossi fractured his right thumb during practice. Pourchaire, a 2023 Formula 2 champion, will miss the second practice session but will participate in the qualifying session. Despite Rossi's injury, he had posted the fifth-fastest time in practice. Pourchaire's return comes after being ousted from the team in June to make way for Nolan Siegel. Pourchaire expressed his disappointment over his abrupt removal, which he learned about just days before a scheduled race. The 85-lap race will take place on Sunday.
