Author Brendan DuBois Arrested on Child Porn Charges

Best-selling author Brendan DuBois was arrested in Exeter, New Hampshire, on charges of possessing child pornography following a four-month investigation by local police and the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce. DuBois, known for his collaborations with James Patterson and author of 29 novels, faces six felony complaints and is scheduled for arraignment at the 10th Circuit Court in Brentwood. His publisher, Severn River Publishing, has suspended all sales and promotion of his books in response to the allegations. DuBois, who turned himself in, is currently held in preventative detention. Authorities have not disclosed details of the evidence recovered during the investigation.
