Secret Service Apologizes for Salon Break-In

Alicia Powers, owner of Four One Three Salon in Massachusetts, reported that U.S. Secret Service agents unlawfully entered her salon during a fundraiser for Vice President Kamala Harris, prompting an apology from the agency. Surveillance footage revealed that an agent covered the salon's security camera with tape before the agents picked the lock to gain entry, allowing multiple individuals to use the restroom over a two-hour period. Powers stated that the Secret Service did not have her or the landlord's permission to enter the premises. Following the incident, a Secret Service spokesperson acknowledged the wrongdoing, emphasizing that such actions should not occur without consent. The salon owner expressed that had she been informed of the need for restroom access, she would have willingly accommodated the agents.
