White noted that Springsteen has been supportive of the project, stating, 'he's just the greatest guy.' He expressed excitement over the similarities in their casual dress styles, both favoring jeans and t-shirts. The film, directed by Scott Cooper, is based on Warren Zanes' book and reflects on Springsteen's storytelling prowess during a pivotal point in his career. Filming is set to take place in New Jersey this fall.
