Gujarat Government Transfers 10 IAS Officers

The Gujarat government has executed a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring 10 IAS officers, including district collectors. Shweta Teotia, formerly the collector of Narmada, has been appointed as the director (administration) at Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd, with S K Modi from Gandhinagar taking over her previous role. K D Lakhani, the Porbandar collector, will now serve as the director of labour in Gandhinagar, while SD Dhanani from Devbhumi-Dwarka will become the new collector of Porbandar. Additionally, N N Dave is reassigned to Valsad, with Ratankanvar Gadhavicharan replacing him as the Sabarkantha collector. Other appointments include N V Upadhyay as the registrar of co-operative societies and Lalit Narayan Singh Sandu as the new state project director of Samagra Siksha Abhiyan. This reshuffle follows a previous transfer of 18 IAS officers in late July.
