University of Oklahoma Athletics Raises Record $110.3 Million

The University of Oklahoma Athletics Department has set a new fundraising record, raising $110.3 million for the fiscal year 2023-24, surpassing the previous record of $109 million set in 2022. This marks the second record-breaking year in three years and highlights a trend of increasing support, with the past four years being the department's top fundraising years. The fundraising efforts are part of a larger $2 billion 'Lead On' campaign aimed at enhancing student-athlete experiences and facilities, with a goal of $725 million by 2027. The Sooner Club, which includes over 17,000 donors from all 50 states, plays a crucial role in funding, contributing about a third of the department's annual budget. Additionally, the department received a record 17 commitments of at least $1 million in FY24, including a significant $20 million pledge from the Kimrey family.
