Sanjay Dutt Cast as Villain in Double iSmart

Sanjay Dutt is set to portray the antagonist in the upcoming Telugu film 'Double iSmart', directed by Puri Jagannadh and starring Ram Pothineni. During the song launch event for 'Big Bull', Dutt expressed his preference for villainous roles in South Indian cinema, stating that they provide him with exciting challenges and opportunities for dynamic performances. He mentioned that despite the absence of certain controversial scenes, he finds satisfaction in the intense actions and emotional range these characters offer. Dutt praised director Puri for his transformative impact on Telugu cinema and expressed gratitude for the chance to work with Pothineni, whom he regards as a talented younger brother. 'Double iSmart' is set to release on August 15, 2024, across multiple languages and is expected to be a significant film following the success of its predecessor, 'iSmart Shankar'.
