Demi Vollering Wins Tour de France Time Trial

Demi Vollering of SD Worx-Protime won the third stage of the Women’s Tour de France with Zwift, dominating the 6.3-kilometer time trial in Rotterdam with a time of 7:25 minutes, five seconds ahead of American Chloe Dygert. This victory allowed Vollering to take the overall leader's yellow jersey from Charlotte Kool, who had previously won the second stage. Vollering's success marked a hat-trick of wins for Dutch riders in the tour. Throughout the time trial, other competitors, such as Grace Brown, faced challenges, including mechanical issues that hindered their performance. Vollering now leads the overall standings by three seconds over teammate Lorena Wiebes, with Dygert in third place. The tour continues as riders prepare for the next stages heading towards the French Alps.
