Carlos Alcaraz Advances at U.S. Open
Carlos Alcaraz has continued his impressive form at the U.S. Open, extending his winning streak to 15 consecutive Grand Slam matches with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 victory over Australian qualifier Li Tu. The third seed from Spain has already secured titles at the French Open and Wimbledon this year, and a successful run at the U.S. Open would make him only the third man in the Open Era to win these three major tournaments in the same season. Alcaraz, who previously won the U.S. Open in 2022, will face Botic van de Zandschulp in the next round. Women's top seed Iga Swiatek is also in action, as she prepares to play Japan's Ena Shibahara. Meanwhile, Jasmine Paolini is set to compete against 2016 runner-up Karolina Pliskova, as several top players vie for Grand Slam glory in New York. The tournament continues to generate excitement among fans and players alike.
