Suspects Sought in Kidnapping Attempts in Two States

Authorities in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and Pompano Beach, Florida, are searching for suspects involved in two separate kidnapping attempts. In Ewa Beach, a Caucasian man in his 30s tried to lure a 10-year-old child into his dark blue Subaru Forester, but the child escaped and alerted parents. Meanwhile, in Pompano Beach, a man aged 20 to 35 tried to kidnap a 15-year-old girl at gunpoint as she walked to school; she also managed to flee. The suspect in Pompano Beach was driving a gray sedan and was wearing a white tank top and black gym shorts. Both police departments have released sketches of the suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.
