Worcester Police Seek Suspect in Double Homicide

Worcester police are searching for William Rodriguez, 59, in connection with the stabbing deaths of two women, Sergia Acosta, 76, and Ana Maria Martinez, 58, discovered in an apartment on Main Street. Rodriguez, who has a previous conviction for manslaughter in the 2004 killing of his estranged wife, is considered armed and dangerous. Prosecutors confirmed that Rodriguez pled guilty in 2007 and was released on parole in 2019. Family members identified the victims and indicated that Rodriguez had been in a relationship with Martinez. Surveillance footage placed Rodriguez at the scene, and a note found in his apartment suggested premeditation.
