Harry Hepworth bronze in vault
Harry Hepworth made history by becoming the first British man to win an Olympic medal in men's vault, securing a bronze with a score of 14.949 at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Competing in his first Games, Hepworth's performance included two strong vaults, while his teammate Jake Jarman finished just outside the podium in fourth place. Carlos Edriel Yulo from the Philippines claimed gold, having previously won gold in the floor event, and Armenia's Artur Davtyan took silver. Earlier, Hepworth had also competed in the rings final, finishing seventh. The Games have seen notable performances from other athletes, with expectations for more medals from Team GB. The triathlon training session was canceled due to water quality issues in the Seine.
