The community of Selma, Alabama, is mourning the loss of two high school students who died over the weekend. Morgan Academy quarterback Caden Tellier, 16, suffered a traumatic brain injury during a football game and passed away on Saturday. Tellier was remembered as a caring and talented athlete who loved to talk about Jesus and was an organ donor. In a separate incident, Au’Terrious Walter, also 16, from Selma City Schools, passed away under undisclosed circumstances. Both schools have made grief counseling available to students and are planning memorial services to honor the lives of the deceased.
