Aston Villa have signed Samuel Iling-Junior and Enzo Barrenechea from Juventus for a combined fee of €22 million (£18.6m, $23.6m). Iling-Junior, a 20-year-old English forward, joined Juventus from Chelsea's academy and has represented England at the Under-21 level. Barrenechea, a 23-year-old Argentine midfielder, spent last season on loan at Frosinone. The signings follow the sale of Douglas Luiz to Juventus for €50 million (£42.4m), a move driven by Villa's need to comply with Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules. Luiz had been instrumental in Villa's recent successes, including their qualification for the Champions League. Villa's other recent sales include Tim Iroegbunam to Everton and Omari Kellyman to Chelsea.
