Spanish police have arrested three members of a burglary gang suspected of using sedative gas to incapacitate victims in luxury villas across Ibiza, including a property rented by radio DJ Nick Grimshaw during his 40th birthday celebration. The gang is linked to at least 22 burglaries, with stolen goods valued at nearly €550,000, and has reportedly been operating since 2019. Victims, including Grimshaw and his family, reported feeling groggy and nauseous after the break-ins, which were captured on CCTV. The gang was apprehended after police tracked stolen vehicles associated with the crimes. Although police have not officially confirmed if Grimshaw's villa was among the targeted properties, the modus operandi suggests it could be linked to the gang's activities. Authorities released footage of the masked suspects and emphasized the seriousness of the gang's operations involving high-net-worth individuals.
