Fabian Martinez Toribio, a 25-year-old undocumented immigrant from Mexico, was arrested in Round Rock, Texas, by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child and possession of a controlled substance. He was listed on the DPS's Texas 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List and had a history of prior arrests, including a 2018 conviction for illegal entry and subsequent removal from the U.S. Following his bond release in October 2023 for resisting arrest, new warrants were issued for his arrest in January and February 2024. The capture is part of a broader initiative by Texas authorities, which has led to 28 arrests of fugitives in 2024 alone. Toribio was apprehended at an apartment complex and remains in custody at Williamson County Jail.
