West Bengal cabinet reshuffles
Recent government reshuffles occurred in both Nepal and West Bengal, India. In Nepal, President Ram Chandra Paudel made changes to the cabinet upon Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's recommendation, promoting Badri Pandey within the Nepali Congress while demoting Pradip Paudel. Meanwhile, in West Bengal, the government reshuffled the portfolios of four ministers, including Babul Supriyo and Manas Bhuniya, following approval from Governor CV Ananda Bose. Supriyo took on additional responsibilities for the Department of Public Enterprises and Industrial Reconstruction, while Bhuniya was assigned the Irrigation and Waterways department. The reshuffle had been delayed due to prior communication issues with the Governor's office. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee continues to oversee the Correctional Home department after the resignation of Akhil Giri.
