Andhra Pradesh and Tata Group Discuss Investment

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu met with Tata Group Chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran to discuss potential investments and economic development initiatives under the 'Swarna Andhra Pradesh' initiative. Following their meeting, the state announced the formation of a Task Force for Economic Development, with Naidu and Chandrasekaran serving as co-chairs. The task force aims to propel Andhra Pradesh to the top economic position in India by 2027. Key projects include the establishment of a Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) development centre in Visakhapatnam, and the Centre for Global Leadership in Amaravati in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The discussions also covered expanding Air India and Vistara Airlines operations within the state and exploring partnerships across multiple sectors. Additionally, Naidu is focusing on developing industrial parks and enhancing skills and employability among the youth through various initiatives.
