Universal Studios is gearing up for its Halloween Horror Nights 2024, featuring a unique lineup of haunted houses including 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Legacy of Leatherface' and 'A Quiet Place'. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre film, with creative director John Murdy implementing a multiverse approach to the franchise, drawing from all nine films. The event will run from September 5 to November 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood and from August 30 to November 3 at Universal Orlando, showcasing a total of 10 new haunted houses and five scare zones. The 'A Quiet Place' house will integrate American Sign Language and subtle sound design to create an immersive experience that departs from traditional haunted house audio. Other featured attractions include 'Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire' and 'Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines'. The events promise to deliver a mix of familiar horror properties and original concepts designed to thrill guests.
