Abilene Christian Football Team Bus Crash Injures Four
Four individuals, including one player, two coaches, and the bus driver of the Abilene Christian University football team, sustained minor injuries after their bus was involved in a crash late Saturday night in Lubbock, Texas. The accident occurred shortly after the team departed following a narrow 52-51 overtime loss to Texas Tech. A 19-year-old driver, Parker Young, was arrested for DWI after colliding with the bus, which subsequently struck another vehicle. All injured parties were treated at the University Medical Center in Lubbock, and no serious injuries were reported. Abilene Christian expressed gratitude to Texas Tech's athletics staff and first responders for their assistance. The team is scheduled to play West Georgia next Saturday.
