The 23-year-old is currently in serious but stable condition after being transported to a hospital. The incident occurred as Pearsall was reportedly targeted for his Rolex watch while heading to an autograph signing. He reportedly fought back against the assailants, one of whom has been arrested and sustained a gunshot wound to the arm. The 49ers expressed their thoughts and prayers for Pearsall and requested respect for his privacy during this time. Pearsall, who was recently drafted in the first round, had just returned to training following previous injury issues.
