Detroit Lions Finalize 53-Man Roster for Season
The Detroit Lions have made several roster adjustments ahead of the 2024 NFL season. Defensive lineman John Cominsky was placed on injured reserve, while the team signed wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones to the practice squad. Veteran wide receivers Allen Robinson II and Tim Patrick also joined the practice squad, adding experience to the team's receiving corps. Additionally, former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Allen Robinson, a Detroit native, is looking to revive his career with his hometown team after being cut by the New York Giants. Two former Oregon State Beavers, Jermar Jefferson and Kyle Peko, were also added to the practice squad after not making the 53-man roster. The Lions signed quarterback Jake Fromm to the practice squad after his impressive preseason performance.
