Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various developmental projects in Budgam district, totaling over ₹40 crore. He also e-inaugurated 40 additional projects valued at ₹101.66 crore, focusing on urban development and infrastructure enhancement. Key initiatives include the construction of accommodation for Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) members at Sheikhpora for ₹6.41 crore and multiple Panchayat Ghars to support local governance. Additionally, community toilet units at Charar-i-Sharief shrine and a new receiving station in Aripanthan were unveiled to address local needs. Water Supply Schemes were also inaugurated to improve access to clean water in the region. The foundation stones for a community hall, a skill development center, and a Truss Girder Bridge were laid, enhancing local infrastructure significantly.
