Shiv Sena Demands Narco Test for Sachin Waze

The Shiv Sena has demanded an immediate narco test for dismissed policeman Sachin Waze to uncover the truth behind bribery allegations against former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh. Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Shirsat asserted that Waze, who was reinstated under Uddhav Thackeray's leadership, has credible ties to the party. Deshmukh, however, claims that Waze's accusations are part of a politically motivated scheme orchestrated by Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and he has called for the public release of a prior investigation report that cleared him of wrongdoing. In response, BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule echoed the call for Deshmukh to also submit to a narco test, suggesting that Deshmukh is evading accountability. The political climate in Maharashtra remains tense as both sides publicly challenge each other's integrity and motives.
