Borussia Dortmund head coach Edin Terzic has resigned with immediate effect, citing the need for new leadership to accompany the club's new start. Terzic's departure comes less than two weeks after leading the team to the Champions League final, where they lost to Real Madrid. Reports indicate his resignation was influenced by a violent confrontation with defender Mats Hummels over tactical disagreements. Terzic has been with Dortmund in various roles since 2018, notably winning the German Cup in 2021 and narrowly missing out on the Bundesliga title in 2023.
