Muruganandam as the new Chief Secretary, succeeding Shiv Das Meena, who has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Tamil Nadu Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TNRERA). His educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, making him a well-suited candidate for the role. The transition occurs just ahead of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin's upcoming visit to the U.S. in late August.
