The Western Railway has announced a schedule revision for the Mumbai Central–Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express, effective August 24, 2024. The train will now depart Mumbai Central at 3:45 PM, ten minutes earlier than the previous schedule of 3:55 PM, with adjusted arrival and departure times at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, and Vadodara. Specific changes include arrival at Vapi at 5:40 PM and departure at 5:42 PM, and reaching Ahmedabad at 9:15 PM, ten minutes sooner than before. The adjustment aims to enhance operational efficiency according to Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway. Passengers are advised to check the updated timetable and plan their travel accordingly. The Vande Bharat Express is noted for being the fastest and most luxurious train on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route.
