Missouri Primary Election Results and Propositions
Missouri's primary elections on August 6 saw voter turnout of 21.82% in Greene County and 25.42% in Christian County. Incumbent Josh Hawley, running unopposed in the Republican primary, will face Democrat Lucas Kunce, Libertarian W. C. Young, and Independent Jared Young in the general election. Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe secured 39.4% of votes in a crowded Republican gubernatorial primary, and Springfield's Crystal Quade won the Democratic primary for governor. In Buchanan County, voters decided on Proposition S to raise school staff salaries and a use tax extension for online purchases. Two state ballot initiatives, Amendment 1 for child care tax breaks and Amendment 4 for increased police funding in Kansas City, were also on the ballot. Election results for key offices and measures can be tracked live via multiple outlets.
