Husband Commits Suicide in Goregaon Tragedy

A tragic incident involving a couple in their fifties occurred in a housing society in Goregaon, Mumbai. Kishore Pednekar, who had been suffering from depression and had lost his job during the COVID-19 pandemic, allegedly strangled his wife, Rajshree, a physiotherapist, before jumping to his death from the third floor. Kishore's body was discovered by a watchman in the building's compound, while Rajshree's body was found inside their flat with strangulation marks. Investigations have revealed that Kishore was mentally disturbed and suspected his wife of infidelity. Police have registered a murder and accidental death case and are awaiting post-mortem reports to confirm the exact causes of death. The couple's only son, who lives in Delhi, has been informed and is assisting in the investigation.
