Apple TV+ has unveiled the trailer for 'Midnight Family,' a Spanish-language medical drama set to premiere on September 25, 2024, with two episodes, followed by weekly releases until November 20. The series, inspired by an award-winning documentary, follows Marigaby Tamayo, played by Renata Vaca, a medical student who works alongside her family in their private ambulance service in Mexico City. Notable cast members include Ariel Award winner Joaquín Cosío as her father Ramón and Diego Calva as her brother Marcus, alongside special appearances from acclaimed actors such as Yalitza Aparicio. The show, which highlights the contrasts of wealth and poverty in Mexico City, is created by Julio Rojas and Gibrán Portela, with Natalia Beristáin as showrunner and director. Produced by Fremantle and Fabula, the series features a fully Hispanic cast and crew, emphasizing cultural representation.
