Universities Crack Down on Political Activities

At Rajshahi University, student politics has been temporarily banned on campus by the Vice-Chancellor until the situation stabilizes, following a student protest and subsequent rescue operation. Dhaka University students have declared certain residential halls politics-free, collecting signatures from hall provosts and warning the administration of responsibility if political figures re-enter, amid clashes and demands for reform within the student political landscape.
