Apple TV+ Releases Trailer for Bad Monkey
Apple TV+ has announced the premiere of 'Bad Monkey,' a comedy series starring Vince Vaughn, set to debut on August 14, 2024. Based on Carl Hiaasen's bestselling novel, the show follows Andrew Yancy (Vaughn), a disgraced former detective turned health inspector, who stumbles upon a human arm while fishing. As he investigates the murder, Yancy navigates a cast of quirky Floridian characters and a particularly troublesome monkey, hoping to reclaim his former glory with the Miami Police Department. The series, created by Bill Lawrence, will release its first two episodes on the premiere date, followed by weekly episodes until October 9. It features a strong ensemble cast, including L. Scott Caldwell, Rob Delaney, and Michelle Monaghan, along with guest appearances by Zach Braff and Charlotte Lawrence. This marks Hiaasen's first adaptation for television and Lawrence’s third project with Apple TV+.
