Freshman JuJu Watkins scored a USC-record 51 points to lead the 15th-ranked Trojans past No. 4 Stanford in a 67-58 upset. This is the most points by any Division I player this season and the most in USC women's basketball history. Watkins also led the team with 11 rebounds and four steals, with the only other double-digit scorer being McKenzie Forbes with 12 points. She hit six three-pointers, and her 3 with 3:10 remaining and four free throws over the final 18 seconds helped secure the win. Stanford's Cameron Brink had 19 points, 15 rebounds, and eight blocked shots, with Kiki Iriafen contributing 16 points and nine rebounds for the Cardinal. USC coach Lindsay Gottlieb returns to Berkeley on Sunday to face her former Cal program.
