Ciara Mageean Withdraws from Paris Olympics

The 32-year-old European champion had been struggling with the injury during her final preparations and, despite efforts from both herself and the Team Ireland medical team, was unable to compete. Mageean previously faced similar setbacks before the Tokyo Games, where a calf injury prevented her from progressing beyond the heats.
