Andrew Flintoff has resigned from his role as assistant coach of England's white-ball cricket team due to a lack of chemistry with captain Jos Buttler. Flintoff had been considered a potential successor to former head coach Matthew Mott but will not be part of the coaching staff for the upcoming series against Australia. Stand-in coach Marcus Trescothick will now have the opportunity to select his own backroom staff.
