Paralympic Games in Paris

Paris is gearing up for the Paralympic Games, which will run from August 28 to September 8, marking the first time the event will be hosted in France with 4,400 para-athletes from 168 delegations expected to participate. The opening ceremony, titled 'Paradox', will take place at the iconic Place de la Concorde, featuring a parade down the Champs-Elysées and a show emphasizing inclusivity. The event is anticipated to attract around 50,000 attendees, with extensive security measures in place, including 25,000 police officers and soldiers. Organizers aim to maintain the excitement generated during the Olympics, promoting affordable tickets to encourage local attendance.
