Indian 2 and Pradhan on OTT Platforms

Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' will begin streaming on Netflix from August 9, 2024, in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. The film, directed by Shankar and a sequel to the 1996 hit 'Indian,' received a tepid response during its theatrical release on July 12, leading to a trimmed runtime of 2 hours and 40 minutes for its OTT release. Despite negative reviews, the film sets up for a third installment, 'Indian 3,' which is expected to release in six months. The sequel continues the story of Senapathy, an aging vigilante fighting corruption. Alongside Haasan, the cast includes Siddharth, SJ Suryah, Rakul Preet Singh, and others. Meanwhile, Bengali blockbuster 'Pradhan' will also debut on Hoichoi on August 9, promising an action-packed narrative centered on a young policeman named Deepak Pradhan.
