Apple's upcoming M4 Mac Mini is set for a significant redesign, featuring a smaller form factor reminiscent of the Apple TV, eliminating USB-A ports in favor of five USB-C ports (two in the front and three in the back). The new model will retain Ethernet, HDMI, and headphone jacks, and include an internal power supply. The M4 Mac Mini is expected to ship to warehouses by early September and go on sale in October, with an M4 Pro variant following soon after. This redesign marks the most substantial overhaul of the Mac Mini in 14 years and aligns with Apple's ongoing trend of phasing out USB-A ports across its devices. New MacBook Pro and iMac models with the M4 chip are also expected to launch around the same time. Additionally, Apple is working on a more affordable Magic Keyboard, targeted for release by mid-next year.
