Letitia Wright, executive producer of 'Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot,' has distanced herself from The Daily Wire, a conservative media company, which partnered with Angel Studios for the film's distribution without her involvement. Despite the movie's success in highlighting the foster care crisis, concerns arose due to The Daily Wire's association with right-wing ideologies. Wright clarified on Instagram that she did not align with the company and emphasized the film's focus on advocating for vulnerable children. 'Sound of Hope' narrates the true story of Bishop W.C. Martin and Donna Martin aiding 77 foster children, aiming to inspire support for children in need. Angel Studios, producer of faith-based films, defended the partnership, highlighting the film's message of community support for at-risk kids.
