Orlando Pride Extends Contract with Seb Hines
The Orlando Pride has extended Head Coach Seb Hines' contract through the 2026 season, with a potential option for 2027, following a historic start to the NWSL season where the team remains unbeaten in 19 matches across all competitions. Hines, the first Black head coach in NWSL history, has led the team to a strong record of 21 wins, 11 losses, and 6 ties since becoming full-time head coach in 2023, positioning the Pride at the top of the league standings. Both club chairman Mark Wilf and VP of Soccer Operations Haley Carter praised Hines for his leadership, teamwork, and ability to build a cohesive locker room. Hines expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and emphasized the team's ambition to achieve greater success. Meanwhile, the Pride finished their participation in the NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup with a 1-1 draw against Racing Louisville FC, ending their campaign in the tournament. As the Pride continue their season, they aim to maintain their momentum and pursue a championship title.
