The Jammu & Kashmir administration has dismissed four government employees, including two police constables, for their alleged involvement in terrorist activities and drug trafficking. The terminated individuals—Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone, Mushtaq Ahmad Pir, Bazil Ahmad Mir, and Mohd Zaid Shah—were found to be aiding terrorist organizations by supplying arms and facilitating drug smuggling, with proceeds funding terror operations. This action is part of a broader crackdown under Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha's zero-tolerance policy towards narco-terrorism, reflecting ongoing efforts to eliminate infiltration within government ranks. Since 2016, over 60 employees have been terminated for similar reasons, highlighting a long-standing issue of corruption and collusion within state institutions. The latest terminations follow extensive investigations by law enforcement and intelligence agencies, which collected incriminating evidence against the accused individuals.
