American Airlines Flights Make Emergency Landings

Two American Airlines flights had to make emergency landings due to reports of smoke in the cabins. One flight, en route from Charlotte to Connecticut, made an unscheduled landing at Raleigh-Durham International Airport; passengers disembarked safely, and the flight later continued to Bradley International Airport. Another flight from Boston to Rochester landed at Syracuse Hancock International Airport, where passengers were then transported by bus to Rochester. Both incidents involved timely responses from airport fire and rescue teams, and no injuries were reported.
